Job summary
The Trust is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Part Time Reception Administrator (Mon & Fri) to join our friendly and welcoming Adults Assessment and Treatment Service. The team is based in St Leonards Road, Eastbourne.
We believe this offers far greater opportunity for individuals to develop a much broader set of skills and to experience a more varied role. As such, the post-holder will work within the Reception/Admin team, sharing a range of duties that support the running of the overall Assessment and Treatment Service . This role is varied, fast paced and very rewarding and involves contact with patients and carers both on the phone and in person. The successful applicant should have excellent customer service skills, good attention to detail and be flexible to cover their share of holiday and sickness when required. NHS reception experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job
Your role will be to provide excellent Reception and administration support to the team.
Good communication skills are essential together with the ability to deal sensitively with people who may be distressed at times.
To ensure the efficient running of the reception area to deal with members of the general public, service users and carers/relatives and staff. To consistently deliver a client focussed service, which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships. Also provide general administration support to the overall team when required. Archiving, uploading documents and printing.
