- Greeting patients and visitors at the front desk.
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with patient queries.
- Booking, amending and cancelling appointments using the practice clinical systems.
- Contacting patients for routine screening appointments.
- Communicating with the clinical team, GP's and other health professionals.
- Receiving incoming mail, electronic correspondence and prescription requests.
- Administrative tasks as required by the practice manager or clinicians.

Job summary
The Colte Partnership are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic medical receptionist/care navigator to join our busy team at Ardleigh Surgery in Essex. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 29.25 hours a week. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing an efficient, friendly and compassionate service as we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient centred care to our local community.

We also work as three collaborative Primary Care Networks (PCNs) which span across Colchester and Tendring:
There is a wide socio-economic and demographic served within this area which will provide an interesting and varied case mix. You will be joining an enthusiastic team of clinicians and administrators. You will be well supported with on-going professional development (training support, CPD and peer support). The role will contribute to the improving quality of care of our patients across the network of practices.
