- Clerk Grade 3/4 - $82,193- $90,001 (plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading).
- Assists in developing and maintaining systems and controls to ensure consistency and quality of services.
- Recommends clearance, risk assessment or automatic bar, based on established procedures, practice, legislation and precedents.
- Obtains additional information from police agencies and/or courts, and advice from in-house legal officers, to determine whether police and workplace misconduct records are automatic bar or trigger records as per the legislation.
- Employment at the Office of the Children’s Guardian is subject to the satisfactory completion of security and vetting checks.
- All roles associated with the Office of the Children's Guardian are required to have a current NSW Working with Children Check.
- The Records Review role involves reviewing police and workplace misconduct records. Can you describe a time when you had to assess complex or sensitive information and make a decision based on legislation, policy or guidelines?
- Managing competing priorities is an important part of the Records Review role. Can you give an example of a time when you had multiple tasks due at once? How did you organise your work to meet deadlines while maintaining quality?

About the role
The role undertakes first review of Working with Children Check (WWCC) applications that could have corresponding police records and/or workplace misconduct records to identify automatic bar and trigger records as per the relevant legislation. It collects and reviews information from various agencies; conducts evidence-based analysis and recommends clearance, risk assessment or automatic bar regarding an application.We are seeking a motivated and resilient person to:
