- 3 years HIM/Medical Record Department related experience.
- Experience with OIG, CMS, Medicare Fiscal Intermediary audits and other payer audits.
- Electronic medical record systems experience.
- Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management.
- 1 year Recovery Audit information coordination experience.
Providence is calling for Recovery Audit Contract Representative - Full Time Day shift
Under the direction of ministry HIM management, HIM Audit Recovery Coordinator is principally responsible for the coordination and processing of audit information for additional document requests, appeals, validation, and data reporting. The caregiver researches, compiles, and submits requested data to external agencies and maintains the Audit Tracking System for the ministry. The Audit Recovery Coordinator is the liaison between the ministry, business office, care management, legal consultants, provider, third party payers and other departments.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable.
