What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and send collection letters to providers in accordance with company policy
- Follow up on outstanding claims by contacting providers to verify receipt and obtain status
- Investigate claim disputes, identifying and escalating issues as necessary
- Document activities and details using established tools and systems
- Maintain productivity and quality standards set by the department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School graduate or equivalent education
- 1 to 3 years of prior collections or customer service experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Required knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Ability to provide a dedicated, secure work area with high-speed internet access
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in billing or coding
