Performs work in the park maintenance of County parks and facilities. Work will be primarily performed at Creekside or West Craven Parks. Works part-time through the Spring, Summer, and Fall months to assist with park maintenance. Keep park areas including shelters clean of trash and debris. Sanitize and clean bathrooms. Prepares and maintains athletic fields for weekend games and tournaments. Mowing and trimming fields and common grounds. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Work also requires considerable tact as you will come into contact with the general public on a regular basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to operate tractors, lawn mowers, weed eaters, and power tools. Ability to perform strenuous work under varying weather conditions. Will involve lifting of equipment, paint and line marking equipment up to 75 pounds.Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid NC Driver's license. Experience operating mowing and field maintenance equipment helpful.Must be able to work special events and programs as needed.About the company
