T-ball/Coach Pitch Umpire - $11-$13/hour
Girls Softball Umpire - $20/hour
Boys Baseball Umpire - $20/hour
Concessions Worker - $9/hour
Tennis Instructors/Coaches - $14-$16/hour
Start Smart/Summer Camp Coaches - $14-$16/hour
Site Supervisor - Adult/Youth (All year): $12-$16/hour
Scorekeeper (All Year): $9/hour
Referee, supervise, or keep score at a variety of youth and adult sports (i.e., soccer, adult and youth flag football, basketball, softball, baseball, etc.).
Prepare and sell food items at Provo City ballpark concessions.
Work with children during summer sports camps to improve abilities/skills in various sports.
Provide both instruction and lesson plans for Track & Field program participants.
Oversee staff and all program operation as site supervisor at a given location.
Assist office staff as needed and perform other related duties as required.
A working knowledge of the sport (or sports) to which the applicant is applying (i.e., soccer, flag football, basketball, softball, baseball, etc.).
At least 16 years of age to for most positions; 18 years or older to perform as Site Supervisor.
Concession Workers must obtain a Utah Food Handler permit within 2 weeks of hire.
Officiating experience is preferred for related positions.

Provo Parks and Recreation is hiring recreational sports specialists to staff various programs within the Recreation Division. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements listed in the description to be eligible for consideration.

What is the compensation?
Pay Rates: $9.00 - $23.00 per hour as determined by the duties performed (as noted below) and candidate's level of knowledge, skill, or experience. (Payment will be made by direct deposit.)

Work requires exposure to potentially adverse weather conditions and stressful circumstances including working with the public in emotional or confrontational situations.
