      Responsibilities

      Roxbury is currently hiring a full-time Allied Therapist to work with our patients on our adult and adolescent psychiatric units.

      This position qualifes for a $2,500 sign-on bonus!!

      The Allied Therapist assesses patients’ leisure and recreational development needs, providing age and developmentally-appropriate therapy groups and establishing behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.

      Job Duties and Responsbilities:

      • Determines the appropriate level of care
      • Maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg.       Qualifications

      Allied Therapist Requirements:

      • Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Allied Therapy or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred.
      • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Allied Therapy or other related field and one year of clinical experience in a health or human services agency required. Certification as a registered allied therapist required with Bachelor's Degree.
