      Recruiter

      Job Summary:

      The Recruiter will handle full-cycle high-volume recruiting efforts for Priority Wire and Cable. This role will ideally be based in our Houston, TX office and will primarily handle sourcing / screening warehouse talent and successfully onboarding new employees. Additional project and program-based work will be involved. We will also consider candidates in Little Rock, AR, Dallas-Fort Worth, or remote.

      Job Description:

      · Create and post jobs in our ATS/HRIS, various job boards, hiring platforms, and forums.

      · Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to produce a large number of qualified candidates.

      · Source and screen candidates, set up interviews, make hiring recommendations, disposition, and make offers.

      · Handle pre-employment process.

      · Manage and perform new hire onboarding.

      · Work with Hiring Managers on their needs, hiring goals, and requirements.

      · Maintain applicable metrics.

      · Assist with staff recruiting as needed.

      · Handle Employee Referral program.

      · Assist in HR department projects.

      Demonstrated Skill in:

      · Recruiting talent for an organization.

      · Preparing and maintaining records.

      · Applying applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

      · Preparing reports.

      · Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

      · Knowledge of various recruitment tools and technologies, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS).

      · Communicating effectively through oral and written mediums.

      Qualifications and Essential Functions:

      Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, HR, Psychology or related field or equivalent experience.

      3 - 5+ years of high-volume Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience, preferable for warehouse roles.

      3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

      Recruiting experience for staff roles (Sales, Finance/Accounting, IT, HR, etc.) is a plus.

      Knowledge of ATS/HRIS, UKG Pro is preferred.

      Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required. Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
