- Collaborate directly with the HR team and hiring managers to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with organizational needs.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer delivery.
- Verify requisition requests and ensure positions meet program and licensing requirements.
- Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews with internal and external applicants, gather feedback, and support hiring decisions.
- Communicate offer details to selected candidates, both verbally and in writing, ensuring accuracy and consistency with agency policies.
- Support onboarding activities for managers and candidates, ensuring timely and efficient processes.
- Foster positive relationships with candidates and new hires to support retention and engagement.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of diverse candidates through proactive sourcing, job fairs, community partnerships, and university engagement.
- Participate in college, university, and job fair recruitment efforts to promote the organization's employment brand.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies, utilizing traditional networking, web-based, and non-traditional social media methods.
- Maintain and update requisitions and applicant information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain an organized tracking system and provide weekly recruitment status updates to managers and leadership.
- Meet or exceed established KPIs and team goals related to time-to-fill, candidate experience, and recruitment quality.
- Manage the recruitment process in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and record-keeping requirements.
- Build trust with hiring managers by maintaining consistent communication and proactive updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Promptly address candidates and hiring manager questions to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
- Co-manage the talent acquisition email inbox, ensuring timely, courteous, and accurate responses to internal and external communications.
- Maintain team documents, files, and shared drives with an organized, detail-oriented approach.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with management and HR colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency in recruitment policies and practices across the organization.
- Maintain professionalism in all communication, documentation, and presentation.
- Manage sensitive and confidential HR records and communications in accordance with agency standards.
- Participate in special projects or process improvements to support agency-wide recruitment initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- At least six (6) months of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR-related experience required; one (1) year preferred.
- Experience in nonprofit environments is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Familiarity with recruitment systems such as Ceridian Dayforce, ADP Workforce Now, or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Understanding of basic employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEO, ADA) preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- On-site, office-based work with occasional travel to job fairs and recruitment events. One remote workday per week may be available upon successful completion of a 90-day introductory period and with supervisor's approval.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. for materials or office supplies.
- Exposure to typical office equipment, such as computers, phones, and printers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all candidates, hiring managers, and team interactions.
