Job Description

Success Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and play a vital role in building our network of schools. As the fastest-growing, highest-performing network of public charter schools in New York City, we're committed to providing a fun, rigorous, and whole-child education to every student, regardless of their background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidate Assessment: Utilize your strong judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to thoroughly evaluate candidates and identify those with the greatest potential to succeed in our schools. This includes conducting a full slate of interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.

• Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with sourcers, fellow recruiters, and school leaders (principals) to understand hiring needs, align on candidate selection, and ensure the right teachers are placed at the right schools.

• Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed goals related to interview completion and offer acceptance, contributing directly to the growth and success of our network.

• Culture Communication: Effectively communicate our strong, collaborative culture and unique school design to attract candidates who share our passion for education.

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a fast-paced, results-driven environment by constantly seeking ways to improve recruitment processes and strategies.

• Teamwork & Celebration: Be part of a fun, collaborative team that celebrates wins and works together to achieve a common goal: providing an excellent education for our scholars.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Experience using an ATS

• Skilled in competency-based behavioral interviewing techniques

• Experience delivering an excellent candidate experience

• Ability to think as a true Talent Acquisition Advisor

• Remarkable organizational skills and a drive to improve efficiency

• Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills

Work Schedule:

• This role is remote on Mondays and Fridays and in-office at our NYC office Tuesday through Thursday.
