      Job Title: Recruiter


      Job Description

      This role involves performing duties related to physician recruitment for primary or specialty care and representing designated medical groups. The recruiter will manage sourcing, vetting, and interviewing activities, overseeing the entire recruitment cycle from start to finish. The role requires maintaining knowledge of policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements.

      Responsibilities

      • Prescreen resumes based on predetermined qualification requirements.
      • Forward resumes of qualified candidates to the hiring department lead.
      • Conduct phone interview screens with candidates matching the criteria of the medical group and department.
      • Apprise hiring department lead of interview results.
      • Promote benefits of working at the medical group, including its quality, reputation, values, and culture.
      • Educate candidates on details of the surrounding community, cost of living, and hiring process to set appropriate expectations.
      • Collect practice profile information and identify skills, credentials, and needs of the department.
      • Monitor candidate progress through the recruitment process, ensuring pertinent information is communicated for drafting and issuing employment contracts.
      • Collect information on salary expectations and inform physician leaders on competitive salaries for new providers.
      • Extend and negotiate offer letters.
      • Negotiate contracts with outside search firms, ensuring the best possible rates.
      • Review contracts annually to determine if renewal is appropriate.
      • Track results from services given to recommend agencies to other affiliates throughout the assigned region.
      • Demonstrate positive guest relations skills with all internal and external customers.
      • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all contacts.
      • Ensure confidential data or communications are handled appropriately when routed/distributed.
      • Collaborate with staff within and across departments to facilitate efficient and productive work environments.
      • Ensure a high degree of responsiveness within and outside the organization.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
      • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
      • Basic knowledge of human resource principles, policies, and procedures.
      • Computer and data management skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced MS Outlook skills.
      • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to multi-task and change priorities as appropriate.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Customer service skills with the ability to listen well.
      • Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information.
      • Self-starter with the ability to independently manage projects and time.

      Work Environment

      The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between remote work and office presence.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
