      About the roles

      Job Title: Head of Housing, North London x 1

      Salary: £81,281.00 to £95,623 per annum + £5,000 Car Allowance

      Job Location: London, Corsica Street /Wrights Road - the position covers teams based in our offices located at Wrights Road, Mick Fury, and Corica Street.

      Hours: 36 per week

      Contract Type: Fixed term contract – 6 months (with the possibility of extension)

      The stock under this post is located in the London boroughs of Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, and Havering. The successful candidate will have line management responsibility for circa 35 posts made up of two front line housing management teams, resident involvement and regional operations all delivering services from three offices.

      The successful candidate will have worked at a senior level have excellent written and oral communication skills, along with change management, problem solving and conflict resolution experience. Stakeholder management is high on our agenda as we strive to maintain and develop excellent relationships that ensure we deliver our strategic objectives through our housing, neighbourhood and estate management services.

      The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and maintaining excellent services for our residents across all tenure groups. You’ll lead on developing excellent relations with our stakeholders, organisational improvement plans and local offers in your area, overseeing and monitoring local action plans. A key part of the role is meeting with local politicians to review performance and implement required joint initiatives and improvement programmes.

      Collaborative working on complaints and developing plans to deliver the required service improvements is a key task, along with representing the region at meetings both internal and external plus contributing to Group wide projects.

      You’ll have extensive experience of delivering housing and/or related services across a number of disciplines at a senior manager level along with experience of multiple team staff management.

      We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter who has a proven record of excellent operational, change and performance management skills. The ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences is essential along with strategic thinking and knowledge of a wide range of housing services.

      You will need to be able to demonstrate that you put the customer first and have a proven track record of customer engagement. The ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and successfully apply in a changing environment is essential.

      Job Title: Neighbourhood Response Officer x 2

      Salary: £35,205 to £41,067 per annum

      Job Location: London, Corsica Street

      Hours: 36 hours per week

      Contract Type: Permanent

      We’re looking for confident, customer focused Neighbourhood Response Officers to join our team in North London. In a nutshell, you’ll ensure that our estates are places that our residents want to live, you’ll work in a rewarding environment supporting vulnerable customers and preventing anti-social behaviour.

      Working collaboratively with other teams, external agencies, and residents, you’ll ensure that Clarion Neighbourhoods are clean and safe, identify improvements and investigate breaches of tenancy. We’ll look to you develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers as well as working with local resident groups to develop local community facilities, activities, and events.

      You will be based at Corsica Street but will be required to regularly travel across North London to meet our residents, depending on the requirements of the business.

      We’re looking for confident and resilient individuals with a positive mind set. With sound experience in customer service, you’ll enjoy working with people in the community.

      You’ll be able to develop effective working relationships across Clarion and external agencies and be confident working alone. You’ll have experience of working to plans and targets and have the ability to exercise good judgement whilst being proactive and creative in finding solutions.

      Job Title: Tenancy Specialist x 1

      Salary: £ 34,839 to £43,028 per annum

      Job Location: 1x post in Kings Court, Stevenage

      Hours: 36 per week

      Contract Type: Fixed term contract - 3 months (with the possibility of extension)

      The Tenancy Specialist will provide a high level of expertise on Anti-Social Behaviour, tenancy fraud, and legal action for tenancy enforcement. You’ll be working closely with field based Neighbourhood Officers to ensure effective investigation and management of cases and that the most appropriate , cost effective and proportionate action is taken.

      We’ll look to you to oversee all tenancy fraud, sub-letting and RTB fraud cases within the Region and decide on the most appropriate course of action against those who commit fraud or perpetrate anti-social behaviour, whilst implementing the most appropriate support for their victims.

      You’ll be required to liaise with Local Authorities, the Police and other partners to acquire evidence that can be used to identify fraud; this may include assisting with police interviews under caution, participating in surveillance operations, interrogation of anti-fraud data bases, interviewing witnesses and other forms of evidence gathering.

      We’re looking for organised and capable of managing a varied workload, you’ll have an excellent understanding of anti-social behaviour and tenancy fraud as well as a demonstrable knowledge of the legislation in respect to tenancy management, fraud, ASB and legal disrepair. We’d expect you to understand Data Protection and how it applies in investigation work.

      Critically, you’ll already have experience of investigative interviewing, ideally for fraud and/or ASB as well as preparing and presenting cases at court. You’ll have experience of successful case management. Preferably you will hold or be working towards a BTEC in Community Safety and/or Counter Fraud Specialist qualification.
