- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of program advantagescompared to competitor programs
- Providing detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants
- Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum four (4) years of recent experience with graduate and/or executive student recruitment and admissions, including data management experience in a student services setting.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with prospective applicants, employers, and students, including in recruitment and admissions settings and others.
- Experience in designing and delivering recruitment events and presentations.
- Experience gathering, analyzing and drawing inferences from recruitment and admissions data.
- Experience developing and/or providing feedback on marketing materials.
- Experience building communications campaigns on various platforms, specifically on a CRM platform is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience managing a complex graduate admissions process, including reviewing applications, managing the committee decision making process, triaging applications, processing decisions and liaising with applicants and prospective applicants.
- Demonstrated experience providing detailed information regarding admissions requirements, program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines to prospective students and applicants.
- Thorough understanding of University of Toronto policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Knowledge of law school programs and admissions policies strongly preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written; strong editing skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Sound problem solving skills.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Recruitment & Admissions, the Recruitment & Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in our efforts to continue to recruit the very best students to the Faculty of Law. The incumbent will support the recruitment initiatives and admissions process for the Faculty of Law’s graduate programs, including our executive Global Professional Master of Laws which attracts internationally trained lawyers and accomplished executives who are united in their desire to study the law at Canada’s top law school. This role requires someone who has impeccable attention to detail and understands the importance of providing exceptional service to the prospects with whom we work, as well as our students, faculty, and staff.
