      Job Description

      RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

      Tsawwassen

      In this role, you will act as the first point of contact a candidate will have with BC Ferries and your primary responsibility is to embody our brand goal to deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Working with a recruitment advisor and reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you provide expert administrative support to your diverse client group.

      Some of your responsibilities include:

      • Coordinating the preparation, tracking, and completion of job postings, and preparing related correspondence;
      • Coordinating with the Recruitment Advisor on additional marketing and or posting support to ensure target audiences are reached;
      • Managing large volume data as it correlates to all external postings;
      • Data management of new hire documentation including creating new employee files;
      • Preparing various reports, PowerPoint presentations, and spreadsheet applications in compiling and maintaining information as requested;
      • Assisting the recruitment team in the creation, development and implementation of recruitment events including career fairs, online workshops, speed recruiting events and local recruitment based open houses across the fleet.

      As an individual, you are energetic with a high level of initiative; possess excellent judgement and problem-solving skills and thrive when you are providing high-touch, timely customer service.

      Technically, you are proficient in the use of Windows-based software programs and have experience in the use of HR database programs.       Additional information

      This is a full-time position with a salary range of $48,000 to $60,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
