      Where you'll be working
      Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.       What you'll be doing

      This position is responsible for ensuring that all new medical officers employed in WSLHD are able to start employment in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for any amendments that are required to be actioned on existing staff. The position is responsible in managing all facets of JMO employment matters as required. This position is responsible to the JMO Operations Manager for assisting in the administration of the Hospital's intern, resident, registrar and CMO Staff. The prime responsibility is to assist the medical staff in all matters pertaining to commencing and terminating their appointment.

      Selection Criteria:

      1. Experience in Human Resources and Recruitment, use of an HRIS system and demonstrated sound knowledge of relevant Awards and employment policies. Previous experience in a health related field.
      2. Excellent computer skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Access and Excel), Email, Intranet and exposure to rostering, payroll and employment computer packages. Experience in JMO eRecruit, ROB, and Stafflink.
      3. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication (telephone, verbal and written) skills and proven reliability to work effectively as a team member.
      4. Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality
      5. Demonstrated time management skills
      6. Previous experience in a busy, high volume workload environment with demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines/timeframes.
      7. Willingness to undertake training in the broad range of functions delivered by the Resident Support Unit (RSU).
      8. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines within a high volume work environment
