  Responsibilities

  Responsible for processing assigned outside provider referrals as well as obtain authorizations for testing in house. Assures timely submissions of authorizations to patients and providers. Maintaining quality care and cost containment per health plan and DVMG. Interacts with all members of the hospital staff, medical staff, patient’s family/significant other and community agencies in providing comprehensive care.

  Qualifications

  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. High School graduate or GED

  2. Managed care experience and possess knowledge of health plan requirements

  3. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $22.98. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
