      GE Vernovau2019s Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future. As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the worldu2019s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

      Job Summary

      The Region Operations Director II is responsible for developing and driving strategic growth initiatives over large, complex regions. Delivers customer value via key business metrics, optimization of our existing portfolio of contracts, strong leadership over the region operating rhythm, and contributing to the overall business strategy.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Manage across region ensuring we are delivering on all our key Principles u2013 Execution, Innovating Thinking, Simplicity, and Working with Power Services
      • Lead and develop operations team members to standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers
      • Ensure regional team is aligning to region success and driving growth
      • Conduct daily operations and business management activities with the Service Directors and Resource Director including operations reviews, performance tracking, and projections
      • Work closely with the Service Director and Service Managers to investigate, analyze, and resolve field service issues and quality in a timely manner
      • Have established working rhythms with FieldCore u2013 Functions, Service Lines, Field Operations, and Resource Operations
      • Leverage key productivity tools in lean and quality to deliver process excellence
      • Drive operational excellence, rigor, and compliance on Fulfillment 5 metrics including, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) / Quality / Cycle / Cost / Productivity
      • Set the tone for EHS Guidelines / monitor EHS Performance pre & post outage working with Site EHS Specialists
      • Develop and implement an outage best practice plan
      • Manage region rewards and recognition programs
      • Support RGM on as needed basis as an extended resource / delegate
      • Travel required
      • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
      • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organizationu2019s core values.

      Required Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management or related field
      • 12+ years of combined experience in business administration, operations, field services, engineering, or other related fields
      • 7+ years of leadership experience
      • Demonstrated field engineering experience and strong mechanical/technical skills; expert in power generation outage maintenance
      • Knowledge of power generation products, services, and installations
      • English proficiency required

      Compensation and Benefits:
      The annual salary range for this position is $163,000 to $268,800.u00A0 This is an exempt from overtime position.u00A0 FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program.u00A0 Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
