What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform project planning, design, contracting, and construction management functions for wetland and habitat restoration projects
- Collaborate closely with the engineering supervisor, DU Biologist, and other stakeholders
- Prepare project scope of work, budgets, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct field surveys and inspections
- Ensure project compliance and budget management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a B.S. in an engineering curriculum
- Registration as a civil engineer (desirable)
- Proficiency in GPS surveying, Civil3D, and construction inspection and management
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team-based environment
- Willingness to perform field work in challenging environmental conditions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in soil science, hydraulics, agricultural engineering, levee/canal design, and/or pump station design
- Safety training for all-terrain vehicle operation
