Position Description The Regional Colorectal Specialist (RCS) is responsible for providing minimally invasive surgical solutions to hospitals with an immediate focus on our GelSeal® technologies as it pertains to the colorectal space. In collaboration with Applied Medical’s Field Implementation team and the Advanced Procedural Specialist team, the RCS is responsible for developing and managing strategic sales plans that result in the long-term growth of these technologies. You will be responsible for performing the following activities: Work from a focused, quarterly sales plan to drive revenue and exceed sales quotas Call on high volume surgical centers to promote our Gel technologies Provide clinical expertise and support for all products used in surgery Set meetings with key opinion leaders and key decision makers of large health systems to communicate and discuss Applied Medical’s minimally invasive programs in the market, specifically colorectal Drive the interest and the adoption of our Gel technologies through targeting leaders within the medical community Operate as an ambassador of the Applied Medical brand in competitive environments Coordinate a cohesive plan through interaction with corporate accounts and Field implementation divisions Work collectively with current/future APS regions to maximize colorectal support, focus and coverage Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: A minimum of 3-5 years of medical device sales experience with a proven track record of continued sales success Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and manage cross-functional teams and activities Must be able to travel routinely (up to 50% of the time) and manage expenses incurred while traveling (travel time may vary depending on individual territories) Proven goal-oriented, self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive Demonstrated performance record with clear documentation of success Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Bachelor’s degree Benefits The base compensation for this role is $75,000-$95,000/ year for the position in the Northwest. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The base salary displayed reflects the target for new hire salaries in the Northwest based on the date of this job posting. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable.
