      Job Description

      What is the opportunity?

      In this role, you will provide support to the RBC PH&N Investment Counsel regional offices in the day to day operations, technology issues and implementation, premises, as well as compliance and administrative support for the Managing Director (MD).       What will you do?

      • First point of contact for day to day technology and premises troubleshooting; liaises with appropriate functional departments to minimize client and employee disruption

      • Responsible for onboarding of new hires which can include technology orders, access requests and HR forms

      • Provide backup and vacation coverage for the reception when needed, ensuring all clients are attended to in a highly professional and courteous manner

      • Manage schedule, book travel and prepare expense reports on behalf of the MD

      • Prepare and collate quarterly office supervision report

      • Review region expenses for all employees to be in line with Gifts and Entertainment Policy and Expense Guidelines

      • Responsible for organizing client events and coordinating onsite meetings on behalf of the MD

      • Assist with various ad-hoc projects as assigned by the MD and the Manager Practice Enablement

      What do you need to succeed?

      • University degree or post-secondary diploma

      • A minimum of 2-3 years' work experience in a professional office environment

      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Strong organizational, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills

      Nice to have:

      • Experience in the Financial and/or Investment Industry

      • Experience in organizing events and coordinating meetings
