- Lead the Regional Crisis Management Team (RCMT) and assign/deploy as appropriate Asset Protection Specialists to security incidents which require investigation, evaluation, and/or follow-up.
- Monitor, track, and evaluate PSEG security events, national threats, and local crime rates to assess PSEG’s threat picture, developing physical security mitigation plans to detect, assess, delay, and respond to threats.
- Directly responsible for the writing, training, and exercising of Critical Incident Response plans, as well as conduct regular meetings and presentations with facility property managers to assist in Active Shooter and other drills and exercises.
- Conduct/facilitate Physical Security Risk Assessments for all regulated/non-regulated facilities to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated and risks are understood and considered within contingency plans using DHS’s standard Risk Model.
- Liaison with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement in response to threats, criminal activity, and the preparedness thereof.
- Assist in the auditing and penetration testing of physical security systems.
- Present and/or brief at Executive Management meetings regarding security events, emerging threats, and/or criminal activity, to include support to the Executive Crisis Mangement Team and lead coordinator of the Corporate Security & Insider Threat Council.
- Continuous Learning and certification in security and crisis management.
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of law enforcement and/or corporate security loss prevention. In lieu of a degree, 15 years of law enforcement and/or corporate security loss prevention
- Law enforcement or other first responder experience
- Thorough knowledge of the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
- Previous experience writing, reviewing, and executing emergency operations and or life safety plans
- Previous experience in training, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Broad knowledge of security protocols, best practices, and procedures
- Excellent presentation, analytical, and communication skills, both written and oral, are required to synthesize key issues, and communicate/persuade key stakeholders towards specific actions and initiatives
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Must posess a valid US driver's license
- Training experience within a utility or regulated industry
- For internal applicants, broad understanding of PSE&G organizations and their relationship as a whole
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

Job Summary
Responsible for the management & oversight of both PSEG’s Corporate Security Critical Incident Response and Physical Asset Protection Programs. In this role, the Program Manager will maintain facility Critical Incident Response Plans (CIRP) and support both Health & Safety and Business Interruption Management in the development and maintenance of all Enterprise Life Safety plans. In addition, this role will lead the systematic approach to identifying threats and vulnerabilities to PSEG facilities which help drive the appropriate controls (preventive/preemptive measures) to manage risks, as well as ensure effective mitigation plans and the Corporate Security response support the company's Workplace Violence Prevention Program.
