- Ten (10) years experience in healthcare administration
- Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Mental Health Administration, or related field
- Strong knowledge of labor relations
- Strong team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience managing multiple sites
- Knowledge and experience in a psychiatric treatment milieu
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, a valid drivers license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at employment and must be maintained.
- Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with stakeholders
- Responsible for the administrative functioning of facilities in the region and/or product type
- Uses management practices that include staff empowerment, clear expectations, frequent feedback, and continuous quality improvement
- Supervises facility Administrators, including setting objectives, developing communication linkages, monitoring performance, and financial performance
- Collaborates with administrative staff in strategic planning to ensure ongoing effectiveness
- Ensures personnel objectives are met, including attendance, turnover, recruitment, and Workers Compensation claims monitoring
- Maintains compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations
- Develops relationships with State and County officials, gathering feedback and providing information to support performance
- Monitors market conditions, policy directives, political changes, and patient needs, responding timely to changes
- Submits semi-annual plans to SVP-Ops on patient care, finance, relations, and personnel
- Travels frequently to facilities and corporate office
- Manages county contracts, ensuring compliance and monitoring
- Manages clinical programs, including development, monitoring, and safety standards
- Evaluates clinical needs and objectives annually, recommends research topics
- Assumes responsibility for fiscal objectives, monitoring expenditures and staffing within budget
- Establishes and maintains standards for safe and effective care
- Assesses quality of care and supports QA/QI programs
- Participates in meeting member needs and adapts to customer changes
- Represents the organization professionally in community and industry associations
- Markets programs to current and potential customers
POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Director manages facilities within the assigned geographical region and/or product line, ensuring achievement of clinical program objectives, quality care, mutually supportive County and State relationships, and budgetary expectations.
Position Details
Full Time Salaried Position | Overseeing Programs that Operate 24-7-365 | Must be available for calls in the evenings and weekends as needed
Expected starting wage range is $170,784.24 - $210,950.16. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
