      Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Regional Equipment Sales Manager for our West Region. This role directs and coordinates activities, at a regional level, related to the sale of Daikin Applied’ s equipment and su pplies.       Location: This position is based within the West Region, ideally near a Daikin Service Office in Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, or Las Vegas. Hybrid role including a high amount of travel to customers, in-office, and remote work.

      What you will do:

      • Provide Sales leadership to manufactures’ sales representatives.
      • Provide feedback to Regional General Manager relative to market sales trends and sales representative’s product needs.
      • Coordinate all meetings with sales representatives and other stake holders critical to the sale of products (engineering firms, contractors, Daikin Applied Service, etc.)
      • Provide sales forecast for region across all products.
      • Meet and exceed prescribed sales targets for the assigned region.
      • Provide training, as needed, in support of product sales.
      • Interact and seek assistance from product sales, national accounts, solutions, and regional operations manager.
      • Evaluate proficiency of manufactures’ reps relative to maintaining product line sales balance.
      • Interface with various support groups of Daikin to ensure appropriate support to all sales channels, Daikin Applied Factory Service and Daikin Applied Parts.
      • Communicate with internal support groups relative to market/industry trends in relationship to price, product needs, quality, training/development, and compensation needs.
      • Approximately 75% travel throughout the region including California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho and more.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable blend of education and additional work experience.
      • 5+ years of related, successful sales experience and leadership.
      • Thorough understanding of Commercial HVAC products and business.
      • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Salesforce experience.

      The typical salary for this position ranges from $127,000 - $220,000 + a sales incentive target of $50,000. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
