- Installation/relocation of Roche laboratory analytical instruments and installation of large projects requiring particular attention, due to the continuous increase in customer requests and the specifications of the instruments we provide;
- Technical release of analytical systems for laboratory use;
- Independent analysis and resolution of most questions and issues, referring only the most complex matters to higher levels;
- Ensuring that all regional activities are documented in compliance with the company's quality procedures;
- Awareness of new service bulletins, urgent news from Global Customer Support (GCS), and other forums. Close collaboration with our Global Customer Support to share technical experiences, implement new ways of working, and promote teamwork across borders;
- Knowledge transfer and technical resource to other Field Service Engineers;
- Support for the coordination of service at the customer site, as well as general/technical advice to service coordination;
- Timely and accurate data recording according to work instructions and agreements, regarding related activities in the CRM system;
- Active collection of information in preparation for meetings, active participation in such meetings, and feedback on meeting outcomes to others;
- Development and monitoring of local reports to ensure the efficient and productive delivery of services;
- Active monitoring of costs for own service activities.
- Degree with full technical higher education (biomedical engineering, precision mechanics, electronic, Information Technology, Medical Technology or related specialties);
- Minimum previous professional experience required;
- Basic knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems and Information Technology & Networking;
- Open for frequent travels both local and throughout Europe (on average, 80% travel required);
- Excellent analytical, problem analysis and decision-making skills, as well as effective planning, organizational and time management;
- Customer service orientation, mastering written/verbal communication, organization and prioritization skills
- Fluency both in Italian and in English (verbal and written);
- Valid driver’s license.

The Position
As a Regional Field Service Engineer you will operate in EMEA (Europe) and you will be accountable for installation of CoreLab analytical laboratory instruments platforms, in order to achieve a high level of service excellence within the region. Working in close contact with Global as well as Roche Italy affiliate, you will also be responsible to contribute to large projects at customer sites and will be seen as the knowledge expert.
