- Creates, adapts, and maintains training programs and materials that support the Division’s training needs.
- Sources materials both internally and externally when necessary to deliver training and programs in a cost-effective manner.
- Supports corporate and local division compliance delivery, communication, and policy messaging and programs.
- Works with subject matter experts to create, maintain, and deliver training materials and programs supporting the Division objectives, including operations, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.
- Creates engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and creates an engaging culture of learning.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and industry practices to proactively update and keep our training materials relevant.
- Assists both Division Office and Operations teams with job posting, staffing, and interviewing activities as assigned.
- Assists with projects and additional assignments for the department as necessary.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably working in a training, development, or facilitation capacity.
- College degree preferred, in adult learning, education, behavioral sciences, or equivalent field experience.
- Proven planning, organizing, and leading skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required to convey information effectively.
- Possesses good facilitation skills and can assist and/or deliver training programs.
- Ability to think creatively and use research, data, and analysis to understand business needs and drive to solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within the company and community.
- Possesses the ability to encourage, manage, influence, and train others to achieve desired results.
- Strong project management skills with proven success managing projects end to end.
- Possesses advanced PC and digital literacy skills including knowledge of standard MS Office tools and demonstrated ability to learn and master other company and third-party applications.
- Strong team player with the ability to be flexible, self-motivated, balance multiple demands and resolve issues quickly.
- Must be willing to travel within assigned area and Division when needed. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.

The Learning Rep is part of the Human Resources team and will support the Southern California Division (Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions).
This team member will report to the Division Learning Manager and will be based out of our division office in Fullerton, CA.
The salary range is $65,000 - $83,180 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Purpose:
The Learning Representative is responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering diverse leadership development and skills training programs, courses, and materials to help leaders and associates build their capabilities, reach their goals, and foster a culture of growth and development. The Learning Representative is a team player that supports an assigned area and other assigned programs or duties as needed.
