      Job Description
      The Cat Mining marketing team seeks a Regional Marketing Consultant to develop and implement marketing strategies for the Asia Pacific division (APD).

      The Regional Marketing Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives in the APD region. This role involves crafting compelling marketing strategies and engaging activities that position Caterpillar as the preferred provider within the region and highlight the comprehensive value of Caterpillar's solutions and services.

      The consultant will coordinate with the APD Business Development Manager, who oversees the same regional territory, on marketing and business development initiatives and projects.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with business goals and enhance dealer and customer engagement.

      • Act as the primary contact for marketing requests and prioritize activities within the ANP region.

      • Manage and support regional trade shows and industry events, with occasional local and regional travel.

      • Partner with the product marketing team to create marketing messages, campaigns, and assets that meet regional business objectives.

      • Engage with internal and external agencies to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of marketing campaigns.

      • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and identify improvement opportunities.

      • Maintain effective internal communications to discuss and align regional marketing strategies with broader organisational efforts.

      • Participate in strategic marketing projects.

      Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

      • College degree and 5-7 years of specific industry experience OR more than 10 years of specific industry experience. Knowledge of Caterpillar products and business processes preferred.

      • Experience in international business and proficiency in multiple languages are desired.

      Additional Information:

      • The preferred location for this position is Brisbane or Melbourne; however, candidates located in other areas of Australia where a Caterpillar office is located will also be considered.

      • This position may require up to 40% travel, based on event support requirements. The role requires working with colleagues across multiple time zones in the region and USA.

      • Working Environment – 5 days in office
