Job Description

- Prepare and deliver a tight & focused morning show, targeting women 18-44
- Be visible! As part of the team, you need to be someone who is in touch with your local community, willing to build relationships, enthusiastically participate in station events and activities, and be an ambassador for the radio station and Virgin Radio brand
- Be socially-savvy with the ability to drive content for the morning show; you must love generating original, engaging ideas that connect both on-air and across all digital platforms
- We have a close relationship with our sister station CTV, and often produce original video content – so you’ll need to be comfortable behind the mic AND on camera!
- Remote broadcasts/station appearances and occasional non-paid community appearances, as required
- Be a personable, active, creative & innovative member of the entire team
- Voice commercials (radio & TV) and promos daily
- Voice track other shows (in-market and out-of-market) when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years on-air experience
- Be a creative, positive & contributing member of the team
- Must be able to connect and engage with a F18-44 audience, both on-air and through social media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to multi-task, organize materials, meet deadlines, and work accurately
- Must have outstanding technical abilities; Working knowledge of MusicMaster, Wide Orbit Automation and VoxPro a definite asset
- Valid G Class Driver’s license and a good driving record
