Job Description
It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF, we are looking for our next Regional Product Manager (LATAM) to become part of our industry leading Ingredients team, based in Mexico.
As the Regional Product Manager, you will …
Be responsible for profitable sales growth for assigned product groups in Functional Systems and Ingredients in Latin America.
Translate global product strategy into regional execution plans by category/ industry.
Translate value propositions into market opportunities and supports sales account managers in converting opportunities.
Represent the portfolio in Category/ Industry Growth Teams: Communicates agenda, priorities and ‘sells’ market opportunities to secure support.
Provide clear guidance to Sales on priorities.
Execute regional pricing strategy.
Job Requirements⦁ Degree in food sciences/chemical engineering/chemistry/business or related field is required; MBA preferred.
⦁ Must have at least 5 years of experience in the food industry/food ingredients and strongly desired experience in Sales and/or Marketing B2B
⦁ Willing and able to travel up to 30%.
⦁ Marketing skills and ability to ‘switch hats’ between marketing and sales perspective.
⦁ Analytical skills and financial plus technical acumen.
⦁ Opportunity and results orientation with a can-do attitude (‘someone who gets stuff done’).
⦁ Prioritization, complexity management, ability to communicate choices.
⦁ Influencing and interpersonal skills in a matrix organization.
⦁ Ability to build strong relationships in virtual and remote cross-functional teams.
⦁ Fluent in English and Spanish.
