      Duties & Responsibilities

      • Strategic development, implementation and continuing improvement of Quality system required by (a) accrediting bodes (b) legislation (c)Internal audit and performance measures
      • Ensure requirements of Quality Management within Rig Technologies are met and Quality process applied in all facilities
      • Effective management and support of Facility Quality Managers in all quality requirements
      • Liaising with Rig Technologies Operational Management on matters relating to Quality process
      • Liaising with Regional Quality Departments to ensure effective and consistent application of QA systems and alignment of structure for the Rig Technologies quality group
      • Developing systems for the management and promotion of standardisation of quality systems throughout the Rig technologies operations
      • Ensuring use of Standardized global technical and quality documents. Monitor uptake through audit of each facility
      • Ensure standardised approach to controlling and conducting internal audits and establish audit schedules throughout the regional operations
      • Developing and maintain high-level, standardised Quality procedures and policies appropriate to the organisations purpose
      • Liaise with Global Quality group to ensure NOV’s quality processes are aligned across the Rig Technologies group
      • Conducting Management Review meetings with Operational Managers from each Quality group
      • Ensuring Quality objectives and KPIs including those which are needed to meet requirements for product/ service are established by senior management are distributed and measured in each operation
      • Presentation of collated quality objective metrics to the regional management team
      • Participate in standardised approach to scheduling, controlling, and conducting Supplier & Internal Audits
      • Advise management on risk within the facility and prepare/review assessments as required
      • Ensure Risk Management, Management of Change (MOC) and Contingency process are correctly followed
      • Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
      • Travel as and when required

      Qualifications

      • Minimum 6 years’ experience with at least 4 years as a leader of international teams with remote employees
      • 4 -6 years’ experience in a similar role
      • Degree in Quality related subject
      • Higher education in a technical field such as engineering or business
      • Computer literacy (Proficiency in MS applications and Adobe)
      • API/ISO Lead Auditor certification
      • Proficient in applicable API and ISO standards and requirements.
      • Excellent Written and Oral Communications
      • CQI/ ASQ membership (or Equivalent)
      • Quality Control knowledge and technical knowledge of NOV products
      • Working knowledge of NOV supported systems
