      Responsibilities

      The Regional Program Manager assists the Regional Residential Rehabilitation Manager and the Residential Quality Manager in overseeing patient programs, collecting data related to patient care, and ensuring outstanding staff development and training. Supervises Programming Department directly and has oversight to ensure the quality of patient programs and effectiveness of staff training and development, including NRS Trainers and Residential Training Manager(s), and Residential Inventory Department. The Regional Programming Manager will work to actively instill the culture, mission, and vision of the company to the department ensuring a positive and efficient work environment. Successfully trains and develops residential rehabilitation staff in the application of the CNS philosophies. Will work to ensure company training programs develop excellent technical skills and knowledge allowing employees to perform outstanding patient care. Work is performed at the designated residential sites with some work at the clinic and/or in the community. Work is full time weekdays with some evenings and weekends. Is on the premises the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the facility in compliance with applicable law and regulation. Will regularly travel up to 50% of time to all assigned locations. The residential sites may include apartment complexes with one or two stories, townhouses with one or two stories, and/or homes in the community.

      • Manages and coordinates the quality and consistency of each patient’s program. If residential site has two stories, requires repeated stair climbing to reach second story apartments accessible only by one flight of stairs.
      • Regularly provides training for staff and reviews program implementation using hands-on real-time techniques, video conference training sessions, as well as phone conference call sessions
      • Works with compliance training owners to ensure compliance training programs such as Harassment Prevention, HIPAA, patient care policy and procedures, adult abuse reporting, etc. are being completed by the correct learning audience.
      • Oversees therapeutic residential programs.
      • Arranges for special provisions for the care, supervision, safety and guidance of patients with disabilities including visual or auditory deficiencies.

      • Provides for the safety of patients, visitors, staff and self when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts, which can include yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, scratching, and throwing objects.

      • Performs toilet and chair transfers with assistance for patients up to 150 pounds utilizing approved transfer techniques. Transfer techniques include standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, pivoting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance and weighing over 150 pounds are lifted and/or transferred by two persons.

      • Transports patients and staff as needed in own or company vehicle requiring transfer and driver abilities.

      • Performs other duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      Experience and Education

      • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required.
      • Work Experience:
      1. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Demonstrated proficiency with patient care technology tools and platforms.
      2. The Regional Residential Quality Manager shall have the following qualifications: a. Must be at least 21 years of age. b. Knowledge of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed by patients, including ability to effectively communicate with such patients, families, and CNS staff. Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable law and regulation. In Texas, Assisted Living Manager (ALM) or, in California, Adult Residential Facility (ARF) certification will be required after hire. d. Ability to effectively influence and direct the work of others to achieve desired patient goals and program outcomes.
      3. As a condition of employment must maintain CBIS, CPR, First Aid, and Pro-ACT Certifications. Eligibility to become a CBIS/Fundamentals proctor is desirable.
