WHAT WE OFFER

The Regional Sourcer Scaffolding ressorts under the group Regional Technical Services and Turnarounds Procurement in de Site Procurement Hub Europe.

You are responsible for the purchasing area of Scaffolding as well as Turnaround Procurement Coordinator for the Antwerp site.

You are the procurement expert for your purchasing area, manage the supplier portfolio ( 18 m€ per year ) and work with our stakeholders to ensure maximum added value even beyond the negotiation results.

You are responsible for the entire procurement process (source-to-contract, S2C), your tasks span the identification/qualification of new suppliers and innovations, the structuring of order types (spot orders, framework agreements), the development of RFQs and contracts, as well as the continuous improvement of internal processes and supplier performance.

The position is preferably based at Antwerp site (Belgium) or Waalwijk (Netherlands) and supports all Covestro sites in Europe (DE, NL, ES en BE).

Your tasks in detail:

• You source technical services as agreed in the global / regional / local work share, develop regional sourcing strategies as required.
• You coordinate procurement activities for Turnarounds in Antwerp and manage sourcing events for turnaround critical services.
• You prepare and treat invitation to tender, sourcing event, negotiation, purchase order or contracts, as well as claims and complaints according to the local / regional / global work-split. You negotiate contracts, claims and disputes, resolve potential claims or disputes with suppliers and ensure prompt resolution of issues (delivery, rejections, quality, etc.) according to the local / regional / global work-split.
• You manage the relationship to assigned suppliers. You perform supplier management incl. onsite audits, performance reviews, sustainability, development according to the local / regional / global work-split.
• You gather and analyze early information about site demands to create a regional forecast and to develop the required suppliers, contracts, framework agreements, etc.
• You cooperate closely with other relevant functions such as local & regional Procurement, Tactical Buying, Content Management, PO Execution, Contract Management, Turnaround Team or other stakeholders (legal, insurance, credit management, accounting ...).
• You generate saving ideas, support standardization across sites, drive efficiencies and synergies within the region.

WHAT YOU OFFER

You have a university degree with Commercial or Business relevance or Bachelor / Master of engineering.

You have significant experience in procurement and/or other relevant functions in an international environment.

You have experience and proficiency in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and management, supplier relationship management, dispute resolution, quality management systems, regulatory requirements and procurement processes, principles and practices, commercial law, modern procurement processes and practices, ethics in supplier-buyer relationships, negotiation practice.

You are an Excellent team player, expert in stakeholder management.

You have analytic decision making, problem solving, interpersonal and creative thinking skills.

You have knowledge and experience of/with all relevant IT tools (Ariba, AVA Futura, SAP, P4U, MS Office...)

You speak fluent Dutch as well as English, German is highly appreciated.
