      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate with the Alabama Department of Mental Health on housing and residential issues in Region II
      - Collect, track, and report utilization review data from community mental health centers accurately and timely
      - Conduct monthly discharge planning conferences with providers to discuss service recipients
      - Act as a liaison for residential placements, ensuring coordination with community mental health centers
      - Participate in meetings and training sessions to support utilization review functions and community resources

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or related field
      - Minimum of three years of post-master’s clinical experience
      - Valid Alabama driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based tools
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills for data presentation and reporting

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience providing clinical services in a residential or inpatient clinical setting
      - Knowledge of psychiatric disorders in adults with serious mental illness
      - Familiarity with available regional and community resources for mental health services
      - Understanding of co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders
      - Ability to create and present data in clear, organized formats for public understanding
