Participate in daily MFM team huddles and care planning
Perform telephone triage and in-person assessments for high-risk OB/GYN patients
Supports the Non-Stress Test (NST) clinic, with the ability to recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart tracing; AWOHNN FHT credentialing preferred
Apply embedded evidence-based protocols for symptom management in high-risk pregnancies
Coordinates diagnostic testing, specialist referrals, and follow-up care
I nterpret and communicate lab and imaging results in collaboration with MFM providers
Assist with procedures such as amniocentesis prep, IV hydration, and fetal monitoring
Collaborate with ultrasonographers , genetic counselors, behavioral health, and pharmacy
Support coordination of team-based care with CNAs, CMAs, LPNs, and other RNs within the clinic(s)
Identify and conduct nurse-led visits for fetal surveillance, medication administration, and urgent patient care needs
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
Float between MFM clinics and OB RN tasks as assigned
Actively embraces and supports divisional and organizational initiatives
Assist with the management of patients with multiple chr onic health conditions in relationship with pregnancy , acute episodes of care, behavioral health challenges while promoting and supporting prevention and wellness.

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to work collaboratively as an active member of the OB/GYN team to provide specialized care for high-risk obstetric patient s. This role supports complex prenatal care through advanced clinical assessment, fetal surveillance, and coordination of multidisciplinary services.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
2+ years of experience in high-risk obstetrics or maternal-fetal medicine
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
Spanish language proficiency
ACLS
REQUIRED LICENSES:
Current unencumbered North Carolina nursing license
Current CPR certification (active BLS)
SCHEDULE:
Regular attendance on-site is an essential function of this position. Typical business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (or flexed to best meet the needs of the clients and/or the Division); 40 hours per workweek; weekend, holiday, or evening coverage is occasionally required . Work hours will need to be flexible in order to respond to special work assignments, or evening activities, as requested by the team leader.
POSITION COMPENSATION:
$38.00/hour, full time + full benefits
