      SUMMARY

      Under the guidance of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will assist in delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities. The RBT provides direct, one-on-one behavioral therapy, employing evidence-based strategies to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This position is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, tracking participant's progress, and facilitating positive behavioral change.       ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      1. Utilize appropriate methods for working with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
      2. Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions in a one-on-one setting, following individualized treatment plans to promote skill acquisition and behavioral enhancement.
      3. Uphold confidentiality and safeguard all sensitive information per HIPAA regulations and Opportunity Village policies.
      4. Promptly report any incidents, concerns, or significant behavioral changes to the supervising BCBA or the Director of Residential and Behavioral Services.
      5. Effectively engage with parents and caregivers to provide progress updates and collaborate on support strategies.
      6. Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code outlined by the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts (BACB).
      7. Ensure availability to work during designated hours, specifically between 3 PM and 7 PM, to accommodate participant's needs.
      8. Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
      9. Adhere to Opportunity Village's established policies and procedures.
      10. Maintain ongoing training to ensure compliance with the renewal of RBT certification with BACB.
      11. Openly communicate with supervisor regarding caseload, productivity, issues, and concerns.
      12. Must be able to meet all requirements of OV vehicle policies and travel:
      • To worksite locations
      • Within the community
      1. May be assigned other duties as needed

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      This position does not directly supervise OV team members but will guide and mentor participants within the program.
