- Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients.
- Conduct patient screening procedures, including oral health assessments, health history reviews, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, and taking patient vitals. Perform periodontal and dental charting.
- Evaluate dental conditions and patient needs, providing advice on proper home care and treatment for teeth and gums.
- Educate patients on maintaining good oral health through proper home care and treatment of teeth and gums.
- Document dental history and chief complaints accurately.
- Record and report pertinent observations.
- Document lab procedures and ensure follow-up on results.
- Assist with or initiate emergency measures for sudden adverse developments during patient treatments.
- Work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, pregnant, and medically compromised patients.
- Coordinate and plan educational programs to enhance understanding of good dental practices.
- Prepare reports and assist with other paperwork as needed.
- Perform documentation and office management duties as required.
- Proficient in teeth cleaning, pediatric care, and working in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).
- Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred but not required.
- Must be certified.
- 2-3 years of experience, ideally in an FQHC setting.
- BLS/CPR certification.

The Role

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95680.00 - $116480.00/yr.
Benefits:

This is a fully onsite position in San Fernando,CA.
