  Registered Massage Therapist - Toronto Physiotherapy - Danforth & Chester

  Fee for Service / Split Fee

  Location: 442 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, ON

  We are looking to expand our team and have high demand and an existing caseload available effective March 19th, for massage therapy services at our bright and welcoming clinic location at Danforth & Chester. For the right candidate, we could offer a part-time or full-time position and are seeking a passionate RMT who will enjoy working on a multidisciplinary team. Our clinical focus is in orthopaedics, sports rehab, pelvic and peri-natal care, and cancer rehabilitation/lymphatic massage therapy, and our expertise in these areas has earned us a wide referral base and high demand for our comprehensive services.

  Qualifications:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
  • An intuitive therapist who takes a patient-centered approach; exploring different techniques to optimize their treatments to best achieve their patient’s goals
  • A “people-person” with a professional and polished demeanor who cultivates a nurturing and enjoyable environment for both patients and staff.
  • Interested in sharing knowledge and engaging in dynamic team-based patient care with a diverse caseload

  Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on manipulation to the body’s tissues including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints, to help decrease pain and improve mobility.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical reasoning.
  • Work collaboratively with other rehabilitation professionals at the clinic.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with washing, drying, and folding of towels and sheets
