      About the Role
      You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
      Our Adult tertiary Emergency Department at RPAH is seeking for an enthusiastic nursing staff to gain critical care experience in the Emergency Department setting. There are also secondment opportunities to gain regional experience at Broken Hill.
      The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

      Ideal Candidate

      • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or have Australian Work Rights.
      • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
      • Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
      • Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team. .
      • Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster.
