What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide nursing care to patients in a virtual environment via telephone and/or electronic communication
- Assist medical providers and mid-levels in interpreting results and communicating care plans to patients
- Develop protocols and procedure manual for the clinic
- Call-in prescriptions and refills for patients
- Triage patient calls and work closely with clinical staff and clinicians
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional nursing experience
- Current Texas RN license
- CPR certification
- Ability to function within the required nursing process as defined by the Texas Nurse Practice Act
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a virtual healthcare environment
