      Registered Nurse – Lakes District

      • Lakes District Hospital, Permanent part time 0.7 FTE
      • Salary Band – $86,519 - $106,739 p.a. pro-rata + KiwiSaver

      About the Role

      Our Registered Nurses are responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care to all patients, using knowledge-based practise and a holistic nursing approach, in accordance with quality and legislative requirements. In this role you may also be part of an on-call roster to assist with transfers.

      This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to utilise your previous nursing experience and gain new skills and knowledge working in General Ward, ED, and Outpatients from time to time.

      About you

      The successful applicant must have the ability to initiate and accept responsibility, work autonomously where appropriate or necessary and be able to function well in a multidisciplinary team.

      We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with 3 or more years post grad experience, you will also have:

      • A current New Zealand Registration and APC.
      • Excellent assessment skills
      • Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly develop a rapport with patients and their whanau/family
