- Regularly evaluating patients' conditions by taking vital signs, monitoring symptoms, and performing physical assessments.
- Creating individualized care plans based on patient needs, including medication administration, wound care, and activity levels.
- Accurately preparing and administering medications as prescribed by physician.
- Cleaning and dressing wounds as needed.
- Initiating and maintaining intravenous fluids.
- Informing patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
- Collaborating with other healthcare team members like doctors, physical therapists, and social workers to ensure coordinated care.
- Responding promptly to medical emergencies and initiating appropriate interventions
- Current licensure as an RN, State of Oregon.
- Current BLS.
- Two years acute care experience preferred.

Hourly Base Rate: $46.67- $75.94
Shift: Day Shift
Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week, 12-hour shiftsThe Medical Care Unit registered nurse (RN) provides care to patients on a general medical unit, assessing their health needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating care plans.
