Job Description
- Req#: 530919
- Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
- Participates in discharge planning process.
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.
- CPR/BCLS certification.
- ACLS preferred.
- CRRN Preferred.

Kindred Hospital Bay Area-St. Petersburg and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is 95-bed hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. With 82 long term acute care beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Comparably, our 13 bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. Located south of downtown St. Petersburg where 4 th Street turns into 6 th Street, between 30 th and 32 nd Avenues, we have stunning, unobstructed waterfront views of the bay with easy access to public transit.
