      Job summary

      12 Month Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity

      The North Norfolk Macmillan Centre is a new facility and part of Cromer's Day Procedure Unit. It has two LA (Local anesthetic) procedure roomswhich is where minor surgery for Dermatology and Urology specialties takes place together with venesections and BCG treatments. This clinical work is supported by three outpatient rooms where clinics are held. These clinics are either led by a specialist doctor or nurse with the support of the nursing team.

      We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who is willing to adapt to meet the needs of our service and train to provide surgical support in theatre for the above specialties. Previous experience in one of these fields would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

      Main duties of the job

      You will work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care, working well as part of a team and be able to prioritize your own workload.

      You will be expected to work in all areas of the department and receive training and support to use specialized equipment.
