      The Toledo Clinic's Rheumatology Department, Arthritis Associates of NW Ohio, is seeking a part-time RN to work every Monday (7a - 5p) and Tuesday -Thursday (as needed). No evenings, weekends, or holidays! This position will schedule and prepare patients for infusion treatments and administer medication.


      General Summary:

      Assist physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patients for physicians(s), educates patients, and provides general patient care

      Works under the supervision of the Office Manager.

      Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

      Example of Essential Duties:

      1. Schedule patients for infusions per physician orders.
      2. Prepare patient for infusion, take vitals initially & periodically during infusion while monitoring patient.
      3. Administer infusion medications.
      4. Educates the patient on procedures, medications, etc.
      5. Communicate with physicians regarding patient symptoms, any possible reaction, dosing, etc.
      6. Answers and returns calls regarding patient care that doesn’t require physician input.

      Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):

      1. Complete and ensure accuracy of patient charts.
      2. Other duties as assigned.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

      - Previous experience preferred.

      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

      - Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.

      - Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.

      - Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.

      Education:

      -Bachelors degree in Nursing with prior infusion experience.

      -Current RN license.
