Fulfill a 1.0 FTE; full-time, salaried position
Typical work schedule is normal business hours, Monday through Friday; however, with supporting a 24/7 team, flexibility for off shift support is required
This role supports nursing practice and patient outcomes for patients on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
The CNL is responsible for overseeing the care of a cohort of patients and assuring optimal care coordination and outcomes for their area of responsibility.
The role provides clinical leadership at the point of care and is vital in mitigating risks for our patients, promoting effective communication across disciplines and guiding nurses to continually grow in their practice.
As transformational leaders, CNLs use change management and process improvement skills to close gaps in care systems.
Act as a change agent and advocate while participating in both unit-based and system-wide improvement work and projects

Peds/PICU & NICU Unit Leadership Teams (Director, Manager, Professional Development Nurse, Quality Improvement Nurse)
Large group of 15+ CNLs and CNL Fellows
Clinicians, frontline staff
Starting annual salary for a Clinical Nurse Leader is of $88,795.20 + MORE for experience; for a Clinical Nurse Leader Fellow, starting pay is $86,632

Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
Must graduate with a master’s degree in nursing and obtain CNL certification within 3 years
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant RN experience in the NICU or PICU. Ideal candidate will have >1-year prior CNL experience in acute setting
