- Provides consultation, mentoring, education, and guidance for EBP projects and research studies. Uses computer applications in the analysis of data, writing, and presentation of information.
- Evaluates program outcomes and models professional nursing practice behaviors to influence best nursing practices to optimize the delivery of patient care and outcomes.
- Coordinates efforts with other healthcare disciplines and departments to support improvement work and inquiry-based activities, including EBP projects and research studies, to advance professional nursing, clinical nursing practice, and processes.
- Provides structures and expectations to support dissemination of nursing research and evidence-based practice projects locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Serves on and/or leads applicable workgroups and committees.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Doctorate Degree: Required
- Three years related experience: Preferred
- One year's leadership experience: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

We're looking for someone to join our team as a RN, Nurse Scientist who:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and evaluating the nursing research and evidence -based practice (EBP) program(s). Assists in ensuring nursing practices are evidence-based and nursing knowledge is generated through research. Acts as a leader, mentor, and coach and provide guidance for the development of resources and infrastructure for the nursing research and EBP programs. Works with shared governance councils, developing workflows and processes as needed to meet program needs. Identifies and leads program improvements, leads various initiatives, and provides feedback and guidance for nursing leaders.

The estimated base pay for this position is $103,727 to $155,590. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
