Job Description
- Req#: 670316
- One year of PACU or Critical Care Nursing (ICU/ED) experience is required.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Inova Fairfax Hospital's Woodburn Surgery Center team is seeking a full-time experienced PACU registered nurse.
Schedule: FT 40 hours/week: Monday - Friday, no holiday, nights, weekends or on call. Flexibility on shifts to include: 8, 9, 10, and 12 hours. Must be able to consistently work until 8.30pm
Woodburn Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center that serves the community of Sports Medicine, Total Joints, hand and other outpatient orthopedic patients. The nurses in this unit care for the patient throughout all phases of Perianesthesia including Preop, Phase 1, and Phase 2 recovery.
There is free parking on site and scrubs are provided. Case volumes are 10-20 per day, and hours of operation are M-F, 0600-2030. It is a fast-paced environment that focuses on strong teamwork and patient safety.
