Patient Care:Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Vital Signs Monitoring:Regularly check and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
Medication Administration:Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation.
Patient Assessment:Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
Wound Care:Provide basic wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.
Patient Education:Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Collaboration:Work closely with doctors, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Education:Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensing:Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Certifications:CPR and First Aid certification; additional certifications may be required depending on the healthcare setting.
Skills:Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
