- Individuals in the job are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting patient care, including patient education, for all age groups, pediatric, adult and geriatric, peri-operative, and postoperative periods of the patient’s surgical experience.
- Incumbents maintain a clean and safe environment, observe and enforce policies, procedures and practices of the Department of Surgical Services and the institution.
- Must use the installed computer systems to support and augment services and be available for mandatory call with a 20-minute response time.
- The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications.
- ADN or BSN
- Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
- BLS (upon hire)
- ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
- PALS (within 30 days of hire)
- A minimum of 1 year Critical Care experience
