      Registered Nurse Position Highlights:

      • Job Type: Full-Time
      • Location: Community Hospital/Short Stay Observation Unit
      • Shift: Nights
      • Position: Open until July 31, 2025 or until filled

      Responsibilities:

      • Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
      • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
      • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
      • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
      • Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
      • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (or its equivalent).
      • Current unrestricted licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
      • Minimum Experience: One (1) year of related experience.
      • BLS Healthcare Provider (upon hire)
      • PALS and ACLS within 6 months of hire

      Compensation:

      • $33.00 - $37.95 per hour, depending on education and experience.
      • Bonus: $30,000 (paid out over 3 years) for RN's with at least 2 years of experience
      • Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

      Additional Information:

      • Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
      • Work Location: In-person/onsite
